COVID19 - NEW OPERATING HOURS

In these uncertain times it is important that we all do our bit to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.

The boss keeps telling us about how important good hygiene, thorough regular cleaning and social distancing are to slowing the spread of the virus.

The government is instructing us to increase social distancing to reduce the risk of attracting and spreading the virus.

As a result, The boss and co have decided to restructure our working hours to operate 2 separate shifts for both the sales office staff and the Picking/packing/production teams.

This initiative is only being enacted at the VIC office & warehouse. Andrew & his team at our QLD warehouse will continue their normal hours.

 SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU, OUR CUSTOMERS?

This means we will be open longer.

 You can now reach the office 

  • from 6.00am till 12.00pm then
  • from 12.30pm till 6.30pm

 We will be closed for 30 minutes between 12.00pm and 12.30pm so that there is NO contact between the two shifts as they start and finish.

Andrew hopes this initiative will help with social distancing but also creates two distinct teams so that we hopefully can avoid the “one out , all out” possibility !

So yes we will be open longer BUT our total staffing will be split into 2 teams each working one shift per day.

In the sales office the Morning Shifts will be covered by:

  • Mike
  • David
  • Robbie &
  • Shelley

They will be supported by a Picking/packing/production team in the warehouse

The Afternoon Shift in the Sales office will be covered by:

  • Mark
  • Paul
  • Jackie &
  • Andrew

They will be supported by a Picking/packing/production team in the warehouse

The Service Centre will still be operating as normal with Christian working during the Afternoon Shift. 

If for some reason you are unable to contact the office via phone (as we have limited staff members as detailed above) please try again in 5 minutes or send us an email and we will respond with an email or call as soon as possible. The best email address to send emails to is sales@bicyclepartswholesale.com.au. Individual's email address like mark@bicycl... are only mornitored by the individual during their shift. 

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate your patience.

In regards to orders, there will be minimal delays over a 24 hour period. We will still despatch the same amount of orders in that time. However orders received after 12pm will be less likely to leave the same day, as we have less staff picking and packing in the afternoon compared to normal. So please get your orders in early if you would like it to leave the same day. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope you can see our strategy of trying to ensure we are open for the long haul.
